Emory Faith Castillo won among girls seven to nine. Josie Jean Grissom won Miss for the five- to six-years-olds. Blaklynn Sanders won for the girls three to four years. Carter Drew Rashad Wright won the boys 12 mos. Emersyn O'Neal was crowned queen of the 12 mos. Harbour Bliss Tubb won the Miss title for the 0 - 11 mos. Leela Kate Beaty, 2023 Miss Middle Tennessee's Teen and first runner-up to Miss Tennessee's Teen, was the pageant emcee. Welcome relief from the heat was provided as the day's events wrapped up in the air-conditioned environment of the Park Theater with the Mr. Students from Paula's Dance Academy then took to Main Street to provide entertainment under the blistering sun and were followed by routines from the Warren County High School Pioneerettes. Firemen dropped several watermelons which landed in the Courthouse parking lot with a satisfying "ka-chunk" after plummeting from the firemen's perch atop the extended ladder of the fire truck. River Swanson placed first in the kindergarten and first grade division, Saylor Gojkovic took first in the second- and third-grade group, Khloe Howell was first among fourth- and fifth-grade entries and Henry and Lane Harvey place first in the group category.įollowing the parade, attendees were encouraged to gather around a City of McMinnville fire truck for a watermelon drop. Taking the top prize among the baby, toddler and preschool category was Mable Grace Nelson. and saw many children, from birth to fifth grade, in wagons, scooters, bicycles, motorized vehicles and other modes of transportation all decked out in shows of patriotism. The Junior Auxiliary's Yankee Doodle Parade, always a highlight of the Main Street celebration, began shortly after 9:30 a.m. Music was provided throughout the morning by McMinnville's own Silver and Gold Band.

Main Street was awash in red, white and blue Tuesday morning as McMinnville celebrated Fourth of July with its annual downtown festivities.
